My Story

Hi, I’m Scott Cornett, president of Adventure Ready Services LLC.

Long before this business began, I had a love for the outdoors and camping. Growing up with 18 wooded acres as my backyard, I spent countless weekends camping with my brothers and friends—whether in the yard, along a local stream, or with my family in our classic Prowler travel trailer.

After earning a teaching degree, I spent over 25 years in education—first teaching computers and English, then serving as a middle school administrator. Along the way, I married my amazing wife, Jennifer, and we raised four kids together.

Camping has always been a big part of our family life. We started in a tent, moved up to a pop-up, and eventually to a travel trailer. Today, we enjoy our 34' Keystone Bullet Premier, and I’ve got my eye on a fifth wheel someday soon.

As I approached retirement in 2023, my wife and others encouraged me to turn my passion for RV repair and modification into something more. I’ve always enjoyed tinkering with our camper and helping friends with theirs—especially when I find a cool new mod. Jennifer would tell you I’ve spent way too much time reading manuals and watching YouTube videos over the years!

So, I took the leap and launched Adventure Ready Services—credit to my wife for the name. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help fellow campers stay on the road and enjoy their adventures. I’ve met some great people, and my goal is simple: turn every customer into a long-term friend.
